Summer Reading Program

Phillips Free Library's Summer Reading Program starts on Monday, June 2.  Register all the readers (and listeners) in your household and then keep track of how many pages each person reads.  You will receive an email within a couple days with information about how to report the number of pages you read.  Each time you report you can also vote for which Minute to Win It games the library staff will play at the Summer Reading Celebration on August 8.  Our Community Goal is to read a total of 400,000 pages between June 2 and August 2!

Summer Reading Kickoff

The Summer Reading Kickoff is on Saturday, June 7 on the Homer Village Green (across from the library) from 10:30am-12:00pm.  This fun event will give you a chance to register for summer reading, play games, and make your own chalk art.  Splat! Sumthin' will be here with their splatter tent and spin art while supplies last.  This event is for people of all ages... children, teens and adults!

Adulting 101

Young Adults age 17-25 (including current juniors) are invited to join us in a series of Adulting 101 classes this summer taught by people in that field of knowledge.
The first class will be on Monday, June 2 from 6:30-7:30pm and it's all about money.
The second scheduled class is Friday, June 20th 6:30-7:30p and it's all about communication.
